Minimally Invasive
Procedures
South Florida’s Anesco Interventional Pain Institute specializes in non-surgical and surgical techniques for treating pain conditions. Most types of pain can be managed conservatively, without the need for surgery. The decision to have surgery depends on the type of condition and severity of pain.
People with herniated or bulging discs may need a minimally invasive procedure to repair the disc. Special procedures can also be performed for people who have limited success with injection therapy for nerve pain.
Minimally invasive techniques reduce the risk of complications, minimize pain and scarring, and shorten recovery times. The procedures are done in an outpatient surgery center, which means you get to go home the same day of surgery. You will need to have someone drive you home if anesthesia is used.
